There’s no doubt that hitting the gym is great for your whole body, especially your skin. Exercise helps increase blood flow to the surface of your skin, bringing fresh oxygen along with it. PRE-WORKOUT: REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP

Wearing makeup while you work out prevents sebum and sweat from escaping your pores, causing blackheads and ultimately, breakouts. Use a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser before hitting the gym to get rid of pore-clogging products without stripping the skin of essential moisture.

THE OUTFIT MATTERS

Form-fitting outfits and moisture-wicking materials like spandex can trigger excess oil production during your workouts.
