FAQs
What are the most important skincare products?
The basics are a cleanser, an exfoliant, a treatment serum, and a moisturizer. A cleanser removes dirt, oil, and makeup. An exfoliant like a peel clears away dead skin. A serum targets a specific concern like dark spots, dryness, aging, or acne. A moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated and your barrier strong. Each one does a different job, and they work best together.
Why should I exfoliate first?
Dead skin sits on the surface and blocks whatever you put on top of it. When you clear it away first, your serums and moisturizer can actually reach your skin instead of sitting on top of it.
What order should skincare products be applied in?
Cleanse, exfoliate, treat, then protect. Our products are numbered on the label to make it easy: 1 is cleanse, 2 is exfoliate, 3 is treat, and 4 is hydrate. Finish with a face oil to seal everything in.
Do skincare products expire?
Yes. Most products have a small open-jar symbol on the label with a number, like "12M," that tells you how many months it's good for after opening. Store products away from heat and direct sunlight, and toss anything that changes smell, color, or texture.
