How Often Should I Replace My Microneedling Head?
Replace your microneedling head monthly. With daily use, the needles dull over time — and rolling with dull needles can cause irritation, inflammation, and damage rather than the smooth, effective treatment you want.
How often to use it
Use the microneedling tool daily, either in your morning or evening routine. Apply your serum first, then microneedle — the tool drives the product deeper into the skin, making it more effective. Follow with another layer of serum or moisturizer after.
How to clean it between uses
After each use, spray rubbing alcohol directly onto the roller head and give it a few spins so it's evenly dispersed, then replace the cap. If rubbing alcohol isn't available, soak the head in boiling water for a few minutes then replace the cap.
How to know it's time to replace
The simple rule: replace monthly. With daily use, that's the point at which the needles have dulled enough that continuing to use the same head will feel rougher, less effective, and can put unnecessary stress on the skin. You don't need to wait for visible damage to the needles — monthly is the standard regardless.
Getting your refills
Replacement heads are sold separately in 2-month supply packs.
Safety note
The microneedling needles contain trace amounts of nickel. If you have a nickel allergy, patch test before use.
