Serums

Serums target your specific skin goal, whether that's firmness, texture, breakouts, or the skin around your eyes. Use them after exfoliating, when your skin can actually absorb them.

The Advanced Retinol Serum smooths fine lines and wrinkles, the EGF Activating Serum targets dark spots and acne, and the Eye Complex targets the delicate skin around your eyes. Follow with a moisturizer and face oil to lock everything in.

FAQs

What does a face serum do?

A serum is a lightweight product that delivers concentrated ingredients into your skin. Serums target specific concerns like aging, acne, or dark spots. For example, the Advanced Retinol Serum helps reduce fine lines and fade dark spots, while the EGF Activating Serum supports skin renewal and firmness. Because serums are more concentrated than other products, they're one of the most effective ways to improve how your skin looks. With regular use, your skin can look smoother, firmer, and more even.

Do you apply serums before moisturizer?

Yes. Cleanse, exfoliate, then apply your serum. Follow with a moisturizer, then finish with a face oil to seal everything in. Serums work best on freshly exfoliated skin, since there's no dead skin blocking them.

Should I use serums in the morning or at night?

The EGF Activating Serum and Eye Complex can be used twice a day, morning and night. Use the Advanced Retinol Serum at night only, since retinol can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

How long does it take to see results from using a serum?

The time it takes to see results from using a serum can vary depending on the type of serum and your skin concerns. Generally, you may start noticing improvements, like better hydration or a more radiant complexion, within a few days to a week. For serums targeting fine lines, acne, or dark spots, it may take 4-6 weeks of consistent use to see more noticeable changes. Be patient, and remember that regularly using the right serums will lead to the best results.

What other skincare products does StackedSkincare offer?

Serums work best as part of a full routine. Start with the Prebiotic Gel Cleanser. Before your serum, exfoliate with the TCA Multi-Acid Face Peel or Dermaplaning Tool. After, protect with the Microbiome Moisturizer and Shiunko Face Oil.
